REFER A FUTURE BULLDOG STUDENT
Bulldogs look out for Bulldogs, and the Ferris State University Alumni Association invites you to help grow our Bulldog family by referring prospective students. Whether a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, or any other connection, your referral makes a difference and earns rewards for both you and the student you refer!
Program Benefits:
As a thank you for sharing the Bulldog experience with a prospective student, alumni who submit a qualified referral will receive their choice of three exclusive Ferris State grit options.
Referred students will also receive a special gift as future members of our Bulldog family. If referral students are a legacy student* and they enroll before February 28, 2027, they will receive a $1,000 Bulldog First Year Alumni Scholarship!
*Full eligibility requirements for the scholarship are listed at the bottom of this page.
How to Participate:
The program is open to all new students, including first-time freshman, transfer students, non-traditional students, and online students. Participating is easy!
- Alumni refer a prospective student to the link below.
- The student fills out the referral form and attends orientation after being admitted.
- During orientation, the student visits the Alumni Association Table to pick up their special gift.
- The Alumni Office notifies the referring alumni that their student attended orientation.
- The alumni selects their preferred swag item.
- The Alumni Office will mail the reward directly to the referring alumni!
By referring a student, you’re not just sharing a university but you’re creating opportunity, building connections, and strengthening the Bulldog network for generations to come. Let’s build the Bulldog population together -one proud referral at a time.
