Students who have participated in the International Baccalaureate program may earn academic credit for equivalent courses. A score of 4 or higher, at the HL level, is required to earn credit, depending on the department. The amount of advanced standing credit is determined by the college faculty of Ferris State University in which the subject area is offered.
IB credit granted is not included in the computation of the Ferris grade point average (GPA) or graduation honors. Once IB credit for a given course has been awarded, a student may not subsequently enroll in that course and receive a grade.
