Biography

Mel is a full-time adjunct instructor for the Digital Animation and Game Design program within the College of Education and Human Services. Combining a passion for new and engaging experiences with an understanding of market realities he guides his students toward exciting and rewarding careers in the digital arts.

In addition to his work for Ferris Mel continues his work in the industry as a digital media consultant and producer. "As a producer I want to see inspiring creations and compelling stories realized. Gathering other like minded people into a cohesive group is the best way to do this. By making a plan and seeing it through, even when it seems like it can never work, we as a team can achieve so much more together than if we had tried alone."
