Minor
Locations:
The Forensic Science minor provides students with a strong foundation in both criminal justice and the natural sciences to support careers related to crime scene investigation and evidence analysis. Through coursework in criminal justice, biology, and chemistry, students learn how to document, collect, preserve, and analyze physical evidence while developing an understanding of the investigative processes used in modern forensic work.
This minor is designed to complement a wide range of majors and can enhance career opportunities in criminal justice, laboratory science, homeland security, environmental health, medical fields, and related public safety professions. Students who complete the Forensic Science minor are better prepared for roles such as crime scene technician, evidence processing specialist, or further study in forensic science at the graduate level.
