Biography

Lynette Vought is an artist and adjunct professor of Art and Humanities at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. She is a graduate of the M.F.A. Printmaking program at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI, and has also earned a B.S. in Ed and an M.A. in Humanities from Central Michigan University. She was apprenticed to sculptor Frank James Morgan in San Diego, CA from 1982-83. In addition to her academic activities, she has a career as a fine art printmaker and painter. Her work is in several collections around the United States, including the State of Michigan and Florida’s Art in Public Buildings program.
