Mecosta-Osceola Science Symposium to Take Place on April 15

The Mecosta-Osceola Science Symposium is happening Saturday, April 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ferris State University Science 126 Lobby.

Any individual between the ages of 12 and 18 may compete in the fair, and it's free to enter! Please bring a scientific poster and all your scientific knowledge.

This event is sponsored by The Science Squad, a nonprofit made for youth, by youth, that promotes scientific inquiry and the pursuit of STEM careers in Western Michigan, and the College of Arts, Sciences and Education.

The goal of The Science Squad is to engage the youth of Western Michigan in activities that will better prepare their generation for the scientific and technological advances that loom before us. The Squad hosts events such as science fairs and summer camps, as well as presentations on scientific breakthroughs and misconceptions.
