Student Employment at Ferris State University is designed to support students’ academic success by providing flexible, skill-building work opportunities.
These positions help students gain practical experience, build professional connections, and prepare for meaningful careers after graduation. On campus employment is intended to be convenient and flexible to students’ academic obligations; we know that student employees are students first, and on campus employers will work with students to make sure their work schedule fits with their classes.
Student Employment, located within Human Resources, serves as the primary resource for students and supervisors who need guidance throughout the Student Employment process. Student Employment is responsible for posting all on campus student positions, processing employment offers and hiring paperwork, and ensuring that Student Employment practices meet University, state, and federal standards.
