The Determined Dawgs Student Success Program is a a program designed to support first-generation, academically underprepared and under-resourced students. Through mentorship programming and proactive advising, we will work to help support all participants throughout their time at Ferris State University.

How to participate
You are eligible to participate in the Determined Dawgs Student Success Program if you are:
- Economically disadvantaged and/or Academically underprepared,
- First-generation college student,
- Resident of the State of Michigan
This program is funded by a six year select Student support Services (4S) grant which
is administered via Michigan’s Work Force Development Agency and the Kings-Chavez-Parks initiative (KCP). The goal of the KCP Initiative is to increase the number of Michigan's academically-
or economically disadvantaged citizens who have the opportunity to complete college
degrees and experience career success as active participants in a knowledge-based
global economy.
