Biography
Julie Alexander earned her bachelor of science degree with a major in psychology from Central Michigan University in 2003. She went on to earn her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from CMU in 2007. Julie started her professional career at Ferris as a counseling intern in the Educational and Career Counseling Center. She continued at Ferris as an educational counselor from 2007 to 2017. Julie worked as an access consultant at the Purdue University Disability Resource Center from 2017 - 2020. She returned to Ferris in April 2020 to serve as the Director of Accessibility and Disability Services. Julie is passionate about ensuring that all students have equal access in all aspects of their college experience.
