Biography
Karen Royster-James is the Supervisor of the Academic Support Center and Structured Learning Assistance for Ferris State University. She has more than 19 years of higher education leadership experience. Throughout her career, Karen has led initiatives in strategic planning, change processes, coaching, academic and student support, staff and faculty development, classroom observations, retention, and program management. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Karen received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Education from Chicago State University.
