What is something that you know now, that you wish you knew when you were in college?

I knew that college would be hard work. I wish I had known that the effort I put into learning during my college years would pay off exponentially when I graduated, even if I don't remember the specific content I learned

What advice do you have for a first-generation college student pursuing a degree at Ferris?

Learn how to admit that you don't know something and ask for help. It is okay to not know everything and to need help. As a faculty member, I expect that my students will need help, and I appreciate and welcome them asking for it.
