Biography

I teach across the P1-P3 years in a variety of clinically-oriented topics, predominantly involving general outpatient and community pharmacy practice. My research interests are centered on the pragmatic implementation and improvement of direct patient care services in community and ambulatory care pharmacy practice. More specifically, I enjoy work that supports pharmacist engagement in general direct patient care opportunities like medication therapy management (MTM), as well as targeted services such as infectious disease diagnosis and prescribing, contraception prescribing, and pharmacogenomics consultations. As one way to support pharmacist engagement in non-dispensing services, I am interested in supporting pharmacy technicians to more actively engage in dispensing and non-dispensing services in the pharmacy setting.
