Glaucoma Suspect or Ocular Hypertensives

Some patients may have an elevated pressure without signs of optic nerve damage or vision loss. The elevated intraocular pressure causes the patient to be at risk for glaucoma. Only about half of the people who have glaucoma are aware that they have this disease.

There are several different types of glaucoma. This includes, Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG), Angle Closure glaucoma, Secondary glaucoma, Normal Tension glaucoma, and Pigmentary glaucoma.
