Multicultural Relations in the United State Minor

 Minor

 Locations:

The Multicultural Studies Minor prepares students to engage meaningfully in an increasingly diverse society and workplace. As communities continue to grow more culturally varied, employers value individuals who are able to communicate across differences, collaborate effectively with people from all backgrounds, and understand how social structures impact opportunity and access.

Students in this minor explore the cultural complexity of the United States, examining both the historical influences that have shaped society and the contemporary challenges that communities face. Coursework emphasizes practical communication skills, empathy-building, and critical thinking. Graduates are better equipped to navigate multicultural environments, support inclusive practices, and lead with cultural awareness in fields such as business, education, healthcare, public service, and the arts.
