Ben Withey serves as the Advancement Communications Specialist at Ferris State University on the Alumni and Annual Giving team. He is a 2019 graduate of Ferris State's College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor's in Integrative Studies-Public Relations and a 2024 graduate of Ferris State's MBA program in the College of Business. Ben has worked at Ferris State since the fall of 2019, sharing exciting news, events, and fundraising opportunities with the Ferris State community on behalf of University Advancement and Marketing.

While a student at Ferris State, Ben was president of Kappa Kappa Psi, the Honorary Band Fraternity; and RapidPR, the PRSSA student-run PR firm. He was vice president of Client Services in Ferris' chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and the treasurer of the FSU chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for communications studies. Ben was also a member of the Pep Band for four years and actively involved in the Concert and Symphony Bands.
