Hoonuit is a video tutorial service that Ferris subscribes to. It provides professional learning resources instructors can embed into Canvas or Blackboard to assist students with a variety of subjects that range from technology training, how to succeed in an online learning environment and even what is needed to land an interview or job. Hoonuit can be accessed from MyFSU or through Canvas/Blackboard. When embedded into Canvas/Blackboard, these tutorials can be connected to the Grade Center.  See our website for instructions on embedding Hoonuit.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2008 by Salman Khan with the goal of creating a set of free online tools that help educate students. It is a great way to provide differentiated instruction to students who are having trouble grasping a concept the way their instructor is trying to explain it by giving students an alternative mean of hearing the same concept taught. Khan Academy has video tutorials in the Math, Science, Engineering, Computing, Arts, Humanities, Economics, and Finance categories. There are two ways to access Khan Academy content.  You can create an account on their website at https://www.khanacademy.org or you can search Khan Academy on YouTube by narrowing the search to the specific concept you are trying to learn.

Microsoft

Microsoft has free video tutorials to help you get going quickly and easily with Office 365.
