Double Robot

Mobile telepresence devices, such as the Double Robot, is essentially an iPad on wheels like a Segway that allows remote people to be physically present and more collaborative in a classroom or a meeting. Faculty, Staff, or Students may not be able to physically attend class or meetings due to economical (finances), physical (health), or technical (transportation) reasons. Traditionally, these people could meet virtually using web-conference technology, which ultimately segregates them. Mobile telepresence devices allow remote attendees to physically move about, which makes them visible and included.
