The Office of Multicultural Student Services invites all members of our campus community to join us for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.

  •  MLK Day of Service Project

    MLK Day of Service Project "Operation Safe Sidewalks" 

    • *9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

    Sponsored by the CLACS - Volunteer Center

    • Volunteers are needed for operation safe sidewalks to help give back to the community by simply shoveling and salting local sidewalks.  Shovels and sidewalk salt are provided.  Hosted by Center for Leadership, Activities and Career Services (CLACS) This opportunity is a pre-register event.     Join OMSS as we watch clips from Dr. King’s speech titled “The Other America” that was first delivered at Stanford University in 1967 and again in slight variations through 1968. The speech explores the racial economic opportunity divide, realities that remain true in 2021.
