Statewide & Online Financial Aid

1. Fill out your FAFSA.

The first thing you need to do is to file your FAFSA online. Make sure to use the correct federal school code for Ferris so that we get your information. Ferris' code is 002260. Many financial aid opportunities, such as scholarships and grants, are awarded to students on a first-come, first-served basis. 

2. Complete you consortium form.

If you will also be taking classes from one of Ferris' consortium community college partners, you need to fill out the community college consortium form after you are registered in your classes at both institutions. You must fill out a new form for each semester that you are enrolled.

Please log into Ferris360, select the Tool tab, either search for the Submit Consortium Form link or scroll to find it in the Paying Your Bill category. Complete the form and submit electronically.

Eligibility:

• Eligibility for financial aid begins with having the FAFSA on file and acceptance into a degree granting program.
• Undeclared or non-degreed status does not allow you to be eligible to receive financial aid.
• To receive federal student loans, undergraduate students need to carry at least six credits each semester. Many grants are prorated based on your enrollment.

Eligibility: 

• Students must be accepted into a degree granting program and have completed a FAFSA application to be considered for financial aid.
• To receive federal student loans, graduate students need to carry at least five graduate credits each semester.

Once we have processed your financial aid, we will apply your aid to any Ferris charges first, and then issue a refund to you for any remaining aid after the 100% refund date. To set up your direct deposit bank information, visit our page in Ferris360.

It is your responsibility to pay the community college course tuition.

You have the option to order your books online, have your FSU textbooks shipped to you and have the charges for the books added to your Ferris billing account during specific time periods at the beginning of each Ferris semester.
