Biography

Dr. Shelby Kelsh joined the Ferris State University College of Pharmacy in 2017 as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. She teaches in the areas of hypertension and sexually transmitted infection therapeutics, and also offers an elective course focused on transitions of care. In addition to her didactic responsibilities, Dr. Kelsh precepts fourth-year pharmacy students during their advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPEs) at the Corewell Health Internal Medicine Residency Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Her scholarly interests include preventative medicine, vaping, and transitions of care. Dr. Kelsh is also the founder of Kelsh Health LLC, an educational initiative focused on developing games that teach healthcare topics in an engaging and interactive format.
She is an active member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). Additionally, she serves as Chair of the Networking Committee within the Ambulatory Care Practice and Research Network (PRN) of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).
Outside of her academic and clinical work, Dr. Kelsh is an avid runner and proudly completed the 2023 Boston Marathon.
