Biography

I have been a professor at Ferris State University since 1994 in the College of Health Professions (CHP). I teach a variety of COHP courses. I am also the Department Chair for the Health Administration and Health Information Department as well as FSU's Radiation Safety Officer. I previously held the title of Allied Health Science Interprofessional Core Coordinator; however, this role has been incorporated into the Department Chair position. I taught in the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program for 23 years and served as it's Program Coordinator for 18 years. I was honored with the Distinguished Teacher Award in 2002 and the CHP Teacher of the Year Award in 2014 as well as the CHP Faculty Advising and Mentoring Award in 2014. I am active on campus, in professional organizations and in the community.
