Kim teaches multiple courses in the Health Administration Programs. Prior to coming to Ferris, she held various supervisory positions in the clinical laboratories of MidMichigan Health. She also taught as adjunct faculty in the Medical Laboratory Sciences program at Saginaw Valley State University. To keep current in healthcare, Kim volunteers her time with the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She received the Regent's award in 2017 and Recognition award in 2021 for her service to ACHE as a local chapter board member, education committee member, and faculty member; she currently serves as her local chapter's Treasurer. Kim also volunteered for the Central Michigan Rural Health network from 2017-2021; her duties included chairing the outreach committee and serving on the governance committee. Lastly, Kim enjoys serving on the University's IRB committee.
