Coursepack Information

Instructors, looking to adopt your coursepack for your courses? Ferris Printing Services makes it easy!

  1. Complete the Coursepack Request Form below and upload your coursepack files. You only need to upload coursepack files if there has been a change, if there has been no changes there is no need to send the file in again.
  2. Visit the Online Bookstore Adoption Portal.

If you are adopting both a coursepack AND other textbooks or course materials:

  1. Select the course in which you will be using a coursepack.
  2. Adopt your other textbooks or course materials following the normal process.
  3. On the "Add Course Notes" page, add a note stating "In addition to the materials listed, this course requires a coursepack which can be purchased directly from Ferris Outfitters, the campus store."
  4. Click "Submit Course."

If the ONLY item you are adopting is a coursepack:

  1. Select the course in which you will be using a coursepack.
  2. On the first page, select "Alternate Adoption Settings" and then click "Other non-bookstore materials."
  3. On the "Add Course Notes" page, add a note stating "This course requires a coursepack which can be purchased directly from Ferris Outfitters, the campus store."
  4. Click "Submit Course."

Ferris Printing Services is happy to receive a hard copy to reference for tab copy, placement, and any other special information that is necessary to ensure accurate production once the Coursepack Request Form has been submitted.

Ferris Printing Services will do all copyright and royalty clearances. Please note that copyrighted material may take 4-6 weeks for clearance, depending on the publisher. We recommend submitting coursepack orders at least 8 weeks prior to the start of the semester.

If requested on the Coursepack Request Form, a hard copy proof of the coursepack will be provided for faculty approval. 

Once coursepacks are produced, they will be delivered to Ferris Outfitters at the David L. Eisler Center where your students can then purchase the coursepack. Students will still have the ability to charge their coursepack to their student account during the designated dates for each semester.
