Digital Animation & Game Design I

In this camp, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling,
texturing, lighting and animation. Plan, model, script and create game levels using
a 3D real-time game engine. We will help you develop a 3D game level or 3D animation
that will be presented on the afternoon of the final day of camp.
Digital Animation & Game Design II
Not Currently Offered
Animation & Game Design II is open to students who have completed Animation & Game
Design I. This session builds on skills from the previous camp. Expand on lessons learned in
the introductory class and have the opportunity to create more extensive game levels
and/or animation.
Digital Animation & Game Design III

This session is open to students who have completed Animation & Game Design I and
II.
In this camp, you will discover how to create gameplay elements in the Unreal Engine
4 by using visual scripting. Scripting creates gameplay elements, modifies control
schemes and creates puzzles within the game world. You will learn how to execute side
scrolling and top down gameplay and modify and script elements to create your own
games! No previous programming experience is needed but basic computer skills and
a familiarity with the Unreal Engine is required.
On the last day of the digital animation camps, there is a special screening of student work created during the week, open to friends and family.
