Ages 14-17 (Space limited to 25)
Students will use solid modeling software to create three-dimensional geometry, designing and prototyping simple household products and a micro-machine.
This track also includes demonstrations and hands-on workshops in mechanical design and 3D CAD and prototyping, welding and mechanical engineering, manufacturing tooling and CNC, and plastics technology.
Camps are taught by leading Ferris State University Faculty members. Students get hands on experience using industry tools and software. Students get the chance to build collaboration and learn to work as a team and problem solve through the low-ropes course and other team-building activities throughout the camp!
