Equal Pay Day represents how far into the current year the average woman must work
to earn the same amount the average man earned the previous year. March 24, 2022 is
the Equal Pay Date for the average woman in the United States, but there are later
dates for women of color and ethnicities. This workshop will explore the history of
Equal Pay day and what it means for those living in 2022. We will also look at various
resources to assist with advocacy and empowerment related to equal pay in the workforce.
