The Michigan ACE Women’s Network is committed to identifying, developing the leadership of, advancing, and supporting the retention of women in higher education throughout the state. The Michigan ACE Network is open to all public and private, two-year and four-year institutions in the state and requires institutional membership for participation in Network activities.
Members of the Ferris State University faculty and staff attended the "Women of Color Collaborative Luncheon" on November 11, 2016 at the Mott Community College Event Center in Flint. Program panelists included Mawine G. Diggs, M.Ed. (Eastern Campus President/CAO, Wayne County Community College District), Rushika Patel, Ph.D. (UM-Flint Women's Educational Center Director), Lisa Webb Sharpe (Senior VP of Lansing Community College), Robin Smith (Trustee on the Lansing Community College Board of Trustees) and Marcy Garcia (Vice Chair, Genesee Co. Hispanic Collaborative). The event was sponsored by the Michigan ACE Women's Network.
