Welcome to the FerrisNow program at Ferris State University! 

Through FerrisNow, you can earn college credits while still in high school, reducing your future course load and saving on tuition costs.

Ferris State University offers college-credit opportunities to high school students in Michigan through the FerrisNow Program. To be eligible, you must have a 2.5 high school GPA and meet any specific requirements for the courses or programs you want to take.

Our Programs

Choose from a range of our robust programs. All these options offer unique ways to earn college credits while still in high school:

FerrisNow - High School Dual Enrollment Application

High school students wishing to take a college course at Ferris should complete the Dual Enrollment Student Application. Get the application for dual enrollment and instructions here.

Articulated Credit

Secondary articulation allows students to earn college credits for high school CTE programs. This ensures these courses won't need repeating at Ferris. More information about articulated credit can be found here.

FerrisNext Scholarship

Students can qualify for a $1,000 Ferris Next Scholarship if they earned at least three college credits with a "C" or higher at Ferris during high school. Learn more about FerrisNext Scholarship

Career and Education Planning and College Study Skills

Our courses offer students exploration into college programs, careers, and employment viability and development of effective study strategies.

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment allows high school students to take Ferris courses during their regular high school day, offered by high school instructors that meet Ferris faculty requirements.

Early Middle College

Ferris offers Early Middle College programs, providing students with opportunities to earn academic certificates and up to an Associate degree.

MathForward

Our MathForward Program enables students to complete MATH 110 or MATH 115 during the summer, preparing them for their college-level math course.

Woodbridge Promise College Prep Program

The Woodbridge Promise College Prep program offers college-level courses and provides additional support to dual-enrolled students.

 

Additional Ways to Earn College Credit at Ferris

Earn college credit through the Credit-by-Examination program, which includes Advanced Placement Credit, International Baccalaureate Credit, and the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP®).
