The long-running tradition of a finals week break for students during exams continues Tuesday, Dec. 12, as Pancakes with the President is set for 8 to 10 p.m. in The Rock Café.
Vice President for Student Affairs Jeanine Ward-Roof said administrators, faculty and staff join the Dining Services team to cook up and serve pancakes with sausage, syrups, drinks and more for students as the semester nears its end. Ice cream will be a sweet treat for students visiting The Rock for Pancakes with the President.
“We all look forward to spending time with our students as they gather for a break and to enjoy some pancakes with the President,” Ward-Roof said.” Everyone is encouraged to come out for this late-night snack and a well-deserved break.”
The President’s Office welcomes staff and faculty to volunteer as servers for this event, seeking emails to acknowledge their intent.
Ferris State’s Student Government Association is collaborating with the President’s Office and Dining Services to host Pancakes with the President.
