Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) and admission requirements vary by program. Please click on a major or program for specific requirements. Most graduate programs require students to submit a resume, a personal statement and three letters of recommendation. Some programs require the submission of official GRE scores as well.
Official and original transcripts, both in their original language and in English are required for secondary schools and colleges that you have attended. Detailed information about transcripts can be found in the document titled Academic Transcript Policies.
You must establish English language proficiency to enter an academic program. You can request that an official score report be delivered directly from the testing organization to Ferris. The list of accepted tests and scores along with our English proficiency policies can be found in the document titled English Proficiency.
You must provide a copy of identification page(s) of your passport as well as those of any dependents you will be bringing into the U.S. If you are currently studying in the US on a student visa and wish to transfer your SEVIS record to Ferris, information can be found in the document titled Transfer Student Guide.
You must provide proof of financial ability to study in the U.S. Detailed information about how to demonstrate proof of available funds for study can be found in the document titled Proof of Funds Available.
