International Collaboration through Business and Multimedia Education
A symposium to explore international partnership opportunities for advancing business and multimedia education.
Attend the two-day professional development symposium for business and multimedia faculty from a variety of universities from around the world. Get the chance to be able to network and communicate with many international colleagues. Have the opportunity to engage with U.S. business leaders and to develop new partnerships and collaborations.
Lighthouse Symposium
Day 1: The symposium will be on the main campus of Ferris State University in Big Rapids. This day will feature faculty presentations, conversations on research and teaching interests, and exploration of partnerships for summer programs, collaborations on online teaching, and discussion on other international exchange opportunities.
Day 2: The symposium will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with private and public sector leaders in Michigan and visit local businesses.
2020 Symposium Showcase With the center of gravity for trade and commerce moving east, the symposium will showcase business and technology in Asia and how to integrate it into academic discourse.
Who should attend? Business and multimedia faculty interested in developing international collaborations for program development and personal professional development.
Who is invited? Ferris State University, USA; Rhine Waal University of Applied Sciences,Germany & Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands.
Where and when? The symposium will be held in Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan, USA. This hands-on collegial symposium will be from March 19 and 20th, 2020.

Attendees will be invited to complete a Lighthouse Attendee Inventory prior to the symposium. The inventory of attendees will be shared to inform potential collaborations and partnerships.
