I've been accepted to KCAD for the fall 2025 semester—how can I access ScholarshipUniverse?
When you receive your letter of admission, it will include your Ferris student ID
number. Your student ID is what you need to gain access to our University communication
portal - Ferris360. When you have access to Ferris360, you will have access to ScholarshipUniverse
beginning December 15, 2024.
Is a FAFSA required for ScholarshipUniverse?

What is an external scholarship?
An external scholarship is a non-Ferris scholarship offered by organizations, foundations,
or businesses outside of the university. These opportunities are not directly funded
by Ferris State University but are excellent avenues for additional financial support.
How do I apply for external scholarships?
Applying for external scholarships is easy! Log in to your ScholarshipUniverse portal
and begin answering matching questions as prompted when you login in. The more questions
you answer, the more effectively the system can match you to eligible scholarships.

and follow the application instructions provided by each scholarship.
Why should I apply for external scholarships?
Applying for external scholarships is a fantastic way to explore the new ScholarshipUniverse
system while increasing your chances of securing additional financial aid. These scholarships,
not limited to Ferris State, offer diverse opportunities, and can complement other
forms of financial assistance.

KCAD/Ferris State scholarships are specifically created for our students by donors
who have invested in supporting your education. External scholarships come from outside
organizations and have varied eligibility criteria and application processes.
When can I apply for KCAD/Ferris State scholarships?
