Scholarship of Merit

Scholarships of Merit are awarded annually to current undergraduate and graduate students.

The 2024-2025 academic year application will open in March (date to be determined later) for both currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students.

Eligible students must be enrolled full-time during the periods of enrollment in which they will be receiving the scholarship. All students must have an established KCAD GPA to apply for this scholarship. Undergraduate students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30, and graduate students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 to apply.

• All studio applicants are required to submit five (5) images or projects for review.
• All studio applicants are required to complete the General essay question.
• Art History applicants are required to submit a response to the Art History essay question.
• Master of Arts in Design applicants are required to submit a response to the MADE essay question.
  
  

*** Awards are disbursed based on full-time enrollment at KCAD (minimum of 12 credits hours for undergraduates, and a minimum of 9 credit hours for graduate students) and students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 for undergraduate and 3.50 for graduate students for renewal consideration and funding availability.
