The Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) offers an Honors Admission Interview Assurance
Program to Ferris State University Honors Program students, provided that they perform
all of the following requirements:
- Complete all pre-optometry courses within the time frame established by the MCO.
- Attain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 in their undergraduate coursework completed
by the end of the fall semester, prior to the year of requested Optometry admissions.
- Attain an academic average score of 310 on the Optometry Admissions Test (OAT).
- Comply with all other optometry admission requirements and OAT deadlines. Students
need to apply before February 1st to be eligible.
