Veterans Breakfast

The annual Veterans Day Breakfast will be held on Friday, Nov. 11 from 8 to 10 a.m. in the David L. Eisler Center.

Ferris State University will host its annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Friday, Nov. 11, from 8 to 10 a.m. in the David L. Eisler Center ballroom. The event is open to campus and community veterans.

Assistant Director of Veterans Services Jacob Schrot said Ferris President Bill Pink is the featured speaker as the tradition of the President’s Office as host for this event continues.

“We saw this as a great opportunity to introduce Dr. Pink to this community,” Schrot said. “We have a core group of veterans who turn out each year for breakfast. So we look forward to enjoying the company of all who attend and will hear his message.”

Schrot added that Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) members will present an honor guard and flag ceremony. In addition, Big Rapids native and College of Arts, Sciences and Education student Anika Jurries will perform the National Anthem before a short program wraps up the event.

For more information about the Veterans Day Breakfast can contact Schrot by email or by calling (231) 591-2022 at least 72 hours in advance.
