Homecoming 2015 is underway and a group of six female and two male students are set
to compete to become royalty this fall.
This year, the titles “king” and “queen” have been changed to “royalty” – all candidates equally vying for two open positions. Winners will be announced at halftime of the 2 p.m. homecoming football game, on Saturday, Sept. 26, between Ferris and Saginaw Valley State University, at Top Taggart Field.
Last year’s homecoming king and queen, Evan Pazkowski and Jazmine Goode, will present
the 2015 royalty their crowns.
“Our candidates are outstanding students this year. The homecoming court is filled
with students from different colleges, organizations and backgrounds,” said Pazkowski,
one of the homecoming committee chairs. “The candidates are unparalleled when it comes
to showing Ferris pride and positively representing the university most of us call
home.”
Royalty voting begins Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 8 a.m. and runs through Thursday, Sept. 24 at 11:59 p.m. Voting is open to all currently-enrolled Ferris students who are registered on the OrgSync Election Portal.
