About Ferris Printing Services

Ferris Printing Services is an integral part of Ferris State University and offers print services to students, faculty, staff, and community. Services include a full line of marketing and business resources from business to cards to banners and brochures to letterhead.

Staff

Melinda Arnson

Melinda, a Ferris '90 alum with a B.A. in Printing Management, has extensive experience in the printing industry across Michigan. She earned her MBA from Northwood University's DeVos Graduate School. A Mecosta County native, she grew up in Stanwood and has strong familial ties to the Big Rapids area. Besides leading Ferris Printing Services, she teaches in the Graphic Communications and Graphic Media Management program, enjoying both teaching and training. Melinda also loves spending time with her horses on her farm.

Christina Bregg

Christy is the Lead Print Specialist at Ferris Printing Services. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany and later raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Christy has always enjoyed art and printing is a career in which she can use her creativity. Her interests include her ten grandchildren, gardening, many artistic endeavors, reading and music.

William 'bill' Quigley

William Quigley began at Ferris State University in 2010 as a part-time Computer Support Desk Technician before moving to Ricoh USA after 2-3 years. There, he spent about 5-6 years learning extensively about the printing industry and site management. In 2021, he returned to Ferris through Ferris Printing Services, bringing his acquired knowledge. Having been with the department for over 2 years, he has developed strong customer service skills, working closely with both internal and external customers to meet their needs.

Scott shea

Scott Shea is a Part-Time Support Professional at Ferris Printing Services who works with various customers to write up orders and assist with other tasks as needed. He specializes in customer service as well as ongoing knowledge of the print industry. He has worked with various newspapers and advertising agencies and uses that knowledge to help him in his daily tasks. Outside of work, Scott enjoys reading, painting, movies and attempting to work on various DIY projects with his wife and son.

KEN LENAHAN

Ken Lenahan currently works with Ferris Printing Services, as a Print Operator. He is a Ferris alumni, graduating in 1992 with an Associates in Printing Technology. He lives in Big Rapids, with his wife Maria, and has 3 grown children, Nicole, Bethany, and Scott. Most of his career has been in the Newpaper business, but the last 5 years or so, have been in other printing related positions. He loves that he has come back full circle to work for Ferris. In his off time, he enjoy camping, boating, ATV's, skiing, and attempting golf.
