Ferris State’s Hannah Crouch named region’s top photographer by Big Rapids Pioneer readers
Ferris State University’s Hannah Crouch is Mecosta County’s top photographer, according to Big Rapids Pioneer readers.
The newspaper this week announced its 2025 Pioneer Group All-Area Readers’ Choice Awards, with Ferris State people and programs gaining accolades in several categories.
Ferris State took top honors in the college/university category, the Early Learning Center was named best preschool program, the Ferris State Eye Center was named best optometry practice, softball coach Jake Schumann was named top coach, the Katke Golf Course was honored in the golf course category, and Ferris State’s FLITE library was a top gathering spot.

Crouch is a 2013 Ferris State graduate who has been a digital media specialist on the University Advancement and Marketing team since 2014. She focuses on telling the story of the university’s alumni and campus events through photography and videography.
