Minor
Locations:
The Public Health minor provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills to promote healthy behaviors, improve community health outcomes, and contribute to a more effective healthcare system. With healthcare organizations increasingly focused on prevention and wellness, professionals who understand public health principles are in high demand.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of health educators and community health workers is projected to grow significantly—driven by efforts to improve population health and reduce healthcare costs through education and prevention initiatives. This minor complements a variety of health-related majors, providing students with a valuable perspective on public health promotion, program development, and health education.
