Biography

Susan Owens is an Associate Professor at Ferris State University and has over 20 years of teaching experience with associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral nursing programs. She is the past Chair and MSN program coordinator at FSU and is enthusiastic about promoting nursing education. She was selected as a NLN/Jonas Foundation Scholar 2011 which provided funding for her dissertation research and a network of other scholars in nursing education.

Research interests include Nursing Education, Inter-professional Collaborative Practice, Pre-diabetes, and Planetary Health.
