Anthony Norman - Assistant General Counsel

Anthony Norman


Anthony C. Norman serves as an Assistant General Counsel in the General Counsel Office.  Anthony has been with Ferris in this role since July of 2022.

Anthony obtained his undergraduate degree in Finance from Grand Valley State University in 2010.  Anthony was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area, and is a proud graduate of East Kentwood High School.

Anthony obtained his juris Doctorate degree from Florida Costal School of Law in May of 2014, where he was the President of the Business Law Society and a Student Legislator for the Student Bar Association.  He was sworn in to the Florida Bar in September of 2014 and to the State Bar of Michigan in July of 2018.  While attending law school, Anthony served as a Law Clerk for McGlinchey Stafford, PLLC.

Anthony possesses a broad range of legal experience in general business and transactional matters as well as commercial litigation with an emphasis in employment law and consumer protection.  He has acted as lead counsel in hundreds of lawsuits in both federal and state courts throughout the United States.  Anthony was most recently an associate at Kreis Enderle Hudgins & Borsos, P.C. in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he handled general business and transactional matters and commercial litigation with an emphasis in employment law.

Anthony is admitted to practice in the United District Court for the Southern District in Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Anthony was named by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of their "Up & Coming Lawyers" for 2020.  He was also named a "Top Lawyer" in Commercial Litigation by Grand Rapids Magazine for 2020 and 2021.
