                  - describe distinctive geographic, economic, cultural, linguistic, or historical features
                     of a region, culture, or society other than North America;
 
                  
                  - articulate geographic, economic, cultural, linguistic and/or historical relationships
                     among diverse nations and peoples;
 
                  
                  - comment accurately about current events in at least one country or region other than
                     North America;
 
                  
                  - describe a method for developing an understanding of geographic, economic, cultural,
                     linguistic, and/or historical contexts of a country or region anywhere in the world;
 
                  
                  - Ferris graduates should develop a more positive perspective and understanding of the
                     importance of global consciousness.
