Many Ferris students have made travel plans for spring break months in advance. Some students often choose to stay home for their spring break. Students visit locations that are warm, cold, and even other countries.
“I’m going home to see family and friends in Farmington,” said Courteous Preston, a junior majoring in Criminal Justice, in the College of Education and Human Services, and member of the Ferris football team. “I am looking forward to going home.”
Other students plan to visit warmer locations, such as California.
“I plan on going to Los Angeles with my boyfriend,” Audrianna Thornton, a junior in the Public Relations program in the College of Business said. “I’m from the Battle Creek area, and it’s freezing during this time, so this is my chance to get a break from the cold.”
Photos submitted may be posted on official Ferris social media accounts in addition
to other Ferris publications. Contestants are encouraged to be safe and creative while
taking their photos and submit them as early as possible while on spring break. The
official entrant/winner is the person who takes/submits the photo for the contest.
The deadline for submission is Sunday, March 17, 2019, by 11:59 p.m.
