The Big Rapids Roller Rink is participating in Glow, Skate and Donate on Thursday, April 4 from 5 to 8 pm. Proceeds from Glow, Skate and Donate, a philanthropic event, are donated to Manna Pantry, a local emergency food pantry.
With the end of the semester fast-approaching, this event is an opportunity for people to clear out their cupboards to support a good cause.
“Students would benefit from attending because it will be a great way to relieve stress and have some fun before the end-of-the-semester chaos,” said Amber McKeever, a second-year Pharmacy student from Birch Run, Michigan and the event’s coordinator.
Glow, Skate and Donate is a philanthropic event. Admission is three non-perishable food items or $5 for three hours of skate time, skate rentals, glow sticks and face painting.
