Music Industry Management Association to Host Indie Rock Group `Michigander'

Indie Rock musician Michigander will be performing at Williams Auditorium on Thursday, Feb. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Michigander is an indie rock act from Kalamazoo. The group’s debut single, “Nineties,” is in regular rotation on college radio stations across the country and has been featured on official Spotify playlists, including: “Indie All Stars” and “Viral Hits.” Michigander has performed with such acts as Ra Ra Riot, Tokyo Police Club, Twin Peaks, and Boy & Bear.

Ferris’ Music Industry Management Association is hosting the concert as it kicks off the program’s 2018 “On the Rise Showcase Concert Series.” Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

A question-and-answer session is scheduled for 8 p.m.

The concert is part of the Big Rapids Festival of the Arts celebration.
