Student Government, University Administrators Collaborate for Pancakes with the President Dec. 10

Pancakes with the PresidentA Ferris State University exam-week tradition continues on Monday evening, Dec. 10, as the Student Government Association hosts Pancakes with the President from 10 p.m. to midnight in The Rock Cafe.

Aubrey Frey, a senior in Marketing from Rockford, is Student Government’s director of public relations. Frey said this event is an opportunity to bring students together with faculty and staff, as Ferris President David Eisler and other administrators serve pancakes.

“It’s a great time to interact with our peers, where they can enjoy a moment to be with each other and meet some of our campus leaders,” Frey said. “These are people that they might not otherwise have a chance to interact with.”

Pancakes with the President is free to students who present their ID cards. Frey said Student Government is reaching out to remind students of this opportunity, which is offered the first night of exam week in the fall and spring semesters.

“Student Government gets to have fun by overseeing a raffle during this event, which offers fellow students the chance to win some great door prizes,” Frey said. “Taking part in Pancakes with the President is a high point for all of us in the SGA.”

Pancakes with the President co-sponsors include the University Center, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, Dining Services, the President’s Office and the Pride Committee.
