‘The Intern Queen’ to Host Campus Five-Star Presentation for Students

Ferris State UniversityLauren Berger, “The Intern Queen,” will have a career-focused presentation for Ferris State University students on Tuesday, Sept. 13 in the University Center ballroom, beginning at 7 p.m.

Berger will discuss her personal internship experiences. Prior to her graduation, from Florida State University, Berger completed 15 internships. Beyond the parts of her presentation that will be focused on ways that students can compete for a dream internship, Berger’s talk will also focus on how to have a successful interview, develop a strong resume and generally make a positive first impression.

“Internships are the best way I have found to gain experience and ultimately add value to a student’s resume,” said Paul Kwant, internship coordinator for Ferris’ College of Business. “Lauren Berger is one of the strongest advocates for internships that I know of. Why not learn from the best?”

This five-star campus event is co-sponsored by Entertainment Unlimited, the Center for Leadership, Activities and Career Services, and the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business and Engineering Technology.
