Election Day is this week, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and Ferris State University has a watch event that will be taking place at 8:30 p.m. Additionally, Ferris has a fall concert by the FSU Symphony Band, a Habitat for Humanity “Box City” event, a Veterans Day event, Bulldog Athletics and more.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CLACS Lobby, Dobby’s Sock Drive

Bring in $1 or new socks to help provide socks for the Our Brothers Keeper homeless shelter. The event will run all of Leadership week in the CLACS lobby.

Bring in $1 or new socks to help provide socks for the Our Brothers Keeper homeless shelter. The event will run all of Leadership week in the CLACS lobby.

11 a.m. Science Building, Room 102, First Thoughts (presented by Michael Wade, assistant director for the Office of Multicultural Student Services)

11 a.m. CLACS Lobby, Leadership Week “Lunch and Learn” event

Join some of Ferris’ top student organizations for a “lunch and learn” session related to leadership.

8:30 p.m. IRC, Room 109, Presidential Election Watch

This event includes a Qdoba bar, games, prizes and more as attendees watch the presidential election results.

Parent University is a FREE event for Ferris student-parents. Please share this information with students in the classrooms or your department to join us while we share valuable campus and community resources. Attendees must RSVP by Nov. 4.

Topics Include: Family budgeting, health and nutrition, financial assistance, safe sleep and family planning.
