As Ferris State University’s hockey team makes this weekend’s trip to Van Andel Arena
in Grand Rapids, Mich. to participate in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s
Final Five Tournament, it is a perfect opportunity for people to showcase some Bulldog
Pride via social media.
The Bulldog hockey team, seeded fourth, faces top-seeded Michigan Tech in the second
semifinal. The puck drops at 7:37 p.m. from Van Andel Arena on Friday, March 18.
A daily trivia contest will begin on Wednesday, March 16 and run through Friday, March
18. Trivia will focus on items related to the Bulldog hockey program and the answers
can be found on the Ferris Athletics website. Questions will originate on the @FerrisState and @FerrisHockey Twitter accounts. Daily winners will score a Bulldog T-shirt and sunglasses. Additionally,
daily prize winners will be entered into a bigger drawing to claim one gold Bulldog
hockey jersey.
A second gold Bulldog hockey jersey will be awarded to the person who shoots the coolest
Ferris pride photo during Ferris hockey games played at this weekend’s (March 18-19)
Final Five, in Van Andel Arena. To be eligible, the contest winner must shoot a cool
photo in which he/she is wearing Ferris apparel (or otherwise demonstrate Ferris pride)
while cheering the Bulldogs to victories this weekend (March 18-19) and post answers
via social media, on Twitter.

- Winners will receive an inbox message and be instructed how to claim prizes
- Winners will have their photo taken as they receive their prizes (photos will be posted on social media)
- Please note that prizes are available to be picked up, only.
Photos submitted as part of the contest may be posted on official Ferris social media
accounts in addition to other Ferris publications. Contestants are encouraged to be
safe and creative while taking their photos. All submissions should be made by Sunday, March 20 at 11:59 p.m.
