The Ferris State University chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America
is set to host internationally-recognized author and speaker Renee Trudeau on Monday,
March 28. Her presentation begins at 6 p.m. and will take place in University Center,
Trudeau’s presentation, “Reflect, Reclaim, Re-Balance: Powerful Practices for Feeling More Present and Connected No Matter How Full Your Life Is,” is free and open to the public. Included will be an interactive activity focused on ways to effectively balance different aspects of life. Trudeau will discuss how people can reclaim their lives through a healthy school, social and work balance.
PRSSA is excited about the wide range of people who can benefit from Trudeau’s strategies.
“A speaker, such as Renee, can bring so much insight to not just students, but also faculty, staff and community members. It can help people achieve a work/life balance to increase their productivity and general health,” said Emma Thibault, president of the Ferris chapter of PRSSA. “This event is something that attendees can take with them and use, even after college, because it pertains to real life.”
The event is free through support from the Student Activity Fund. Event co-sponsors include the Academic Support Center, Alpha Sigma Tau and Zeta Tau Alpha.
